Definitely the best way to get to know the heart of the island, its intricate mangroves forest and the rivers that cross the island form the sea to the lagoon.
The kayak or paddle board are the only way to get into some of these rivers and discover the many species of birds that inhabit this environment.
Silently you will be able to get close to pink flamingos (in season), pink spoonbills, great white egrets and many kinds of herons, amongst others species.
In this exuberant wild habitat it is also very common to spot some crocodiles sunbathing along the shores or at least see their nests or footprints.
An expert guide accompanies the tour with a support boat.
No experience is required, the rivers are shallow and peaceful.
